Join our Coop
The Found & Fixed Hudson Valley team is looking for one to two more people to join our coop as founding members. As a founding member, you will be a co-owner of the business.
We are a worker coop that was founded in February 2023 to repair, refinish, and repaint wood furniture destined for the landfill. Our business provides high-quality, sustainable furniture to Hudson Valley residents at prices that are competitive with big box stores and fast online retailers.
We operate out of a 2000 sqft workshop in Highland, NY.
Not sure what a worker cooperative is? According to the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives,“worker cooperatives are values-driven businesses that put worker and community benefit at the core of their purpose. In contrast to traditional companies, worker members at worker cooperatives participate in the profits, oversight, and often management of the enterprise using democratic practices.”
Said differently, we are a totally normal business but we operate with a social mission and we make decisions collaboratively.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking 1 - 2 individuals that:
Are available to do 5 - 10 hours a week of small business operations and marketing work
Can do regular shop hours (you can set your own schedule but then need to stay consistent)
Can participate in occassional Saturday morning hours (8:30 to 12) and some weekend events
Have some experience or transferable skills that will add to the growth of our business

Opt into a trial period
Apply to become a co-owner at the end of your trial period
